could you use sea monkeys as live foods for fish? i heard they were just brine shrimp, true or false?

So, if someone bought a "sea monkey" kit that keeps producing brine shrimp... you basically just bought a hella over-priced brine shrimp hatchery right?

Yes, its the sea monkey kit.. I bought the brine shrimp hatchery and just get the kids involved in mixing the stuff up (just like the "sea monkey" stuff)... and get to feed my fish.

how much are sea monkeys at the shop? and how much are brine shrimp at your LPS?

I think sea monkeys are 20$ for the kit and the LFS has brine shrimp for like $4 a pack.

You should be able to buy a lifetime supply of sea monkeys online or from your LFS for what a high end sea monkey kit would cost.
