Cleaning earthworm?

Well i currently have about a 3 earthworms i got from a yard,(1inch,3inch,4inch)that i garled around in water to get the dirt out. Now they are in my fridge soaking for about 12 hours. People havent used that yard for years so i think they're free of pesticides.
Well anyway is this it to cleaning earthworms? is the next step just to chop it out and feed?

Good morning Snowball. In regards to your eathworms, what are you going to be feeding them to? Could you give us a little bit more information.

very fine as all those fish have very small mouths..and make sure they eat each piece or you will have a ton of waste in the tank..i only fed worms to my bigger cichlids ie oscars & dempseys...

I feed earthworms to my pictus. Just rinse them off (mine come from my yard...no pesticides). I attach the worm to wooden skewer to give to the catfish. I had read somewhere that earthworms are free of bacteria and are safe. The same article had mentioned some other "insects" that were not safe to use...I don't remember what they were though.

If I remember correctly, earthworms have white blood cells et cetera, so they can catch diseases too.
