It depends on what fish yhou have as to what to feed them. I feed my fish 3 times a day small amounts.

I feed mine small amounts twice a day and about once or twice a month skip a day.
in the morning they get veggie flakes at night they get color flakes for the top swimmers, veggie wafers, shrimp pellets, or frozen blood worms or frozen brine shrimp for the bottom dwellers depending on what fish they are.
