African Clawed Frog

I have had an African Clawed Frog in my aquarium for about 6 weeks now, and I have never seen him eat anything. Also to that note, he does not move unless provoked. Is this normal for this animal, or should I be feeding him a special diet. I currently have frozen blood worms and brine shrimp. Also, is he the reason that my nitrates have spiked recently, or could it be another cause. The other fish that he lives with include a 4-5" leaf fish, 3 2-3" clown loaches, and an albino fish that I have not been able to identify, but it is about 6" and very peaceful.

Thanks for any help.

Hmm. I would try hand feeding him with a syringe to make sure hes getting enough food. But I really don't know anything about frogs, so thats all I can help you with. And a picture would really help in identifying the albino fish.
Good luck!

Not to be a downer with info, but - the clown loaches need to be in a 90 gal. tank & the frog gets large, and may try to eat other fish in the tank. Frogs generally eat off the bottom of the tank, so sinking pellets work really well.

+1, I was going to mention it but figured someone else would.
