Does any one know of a really good spirulina flake that can be purchased in a reasonable size container and not like a huge life-time sized batch? lol! And if you do could you tell me what the spirulina content of the flake is? Im using Bestflake right now but just want to know if there's something better out there lol! Thanks!

Aqueon's Spirulina Flakes formula or Tetra's Tetra Veggie flakes or algae crisps are good quality sprulina foods. I'm not sure of the content of spirulina, but i use the Tetra Algae crisps and everyone inhales them even the danios

yeah I've heard those are good too but Im just looking for something with really high spirulina content for my tropheuses b/c they have a very sensitive digestive system and a flake with to much fish meal or other fillers could kill them. but I will definetly look into those thanks!

While it doesn't come anywhere close to your "reasonable size" requirement (the smallest size available for most types is a half pound), Ken's Fish does offer several spirulina flakes, most of which mention Tropheus specifically in the description, and one of which claims to be 100% spirulina. There's also contact information on the homepage where you can get in touch with him if you want an exact percentage of spirulina content.

I've ordered from him before, though not for Tropheus food, and was quite satisfied with the product.

Ken's fish is awesome! I have ordered a lot of stuff from him.

I personally use OSI flakes, they have low protien and max spirulla.
