Carrots?

Anyone feeding their fish carrots? I read that carrots are good nutrition and will help with their color. If so what kind of fish are you feeding it to and what method do you use to feed them carrots?

I was thinking of feeding a small amount of grated carrot, possibly softened in some hot water or the microwave

Hi X-Men
I've done it a few times with my Silver Dollars . I used a potato peeler so I ended up with very thin strips .

I use carrot for my BN catfish. Just kit it across ways in discs and boil it to soften. He loves rasping on it and the other fish nibble at it too.
I think your pleco would love it

Thank for he replies, I was making spinach the last night so after I cooked it I put some aside before I seasoned it, I think the pleco liked it and some of the other fish liked it. On and I have a ghost shrimp who was hording a little piece for himself.
