can tetras eat frozen bloodworms???

i was thinking of buying some frozen bloodworms for my tetras , i have black neons, neons, glowlight & cardinals.i feed them flakes in the morning & brine shrimp in the evening, but i want to throw frozen bloodworms in to there diet every now & than. good idea? or should i stick what I'm feeding them.

oh yes they will love them....just thaw them in some tank water then feed them to the tank

yes but you need to thaw them first. feeding your fish food that is still frozen can harm your fish.

Actually I've never had a problem feeding the frozen bloodworms. They thaw so quickly that by the time the fish get to them they're tank temp. My cardinals love bloodworms.
I just swish the cube through the water to loosen them up and spread them out for everyone.

I like to thaw bloodworms and shrimp by putting them in a net in a glass of water. That way, all the red gunky water from them doesn't go in my tank.

Tetras are basically little piranhas, so will love bloodworms!

I suppose that would help in keeping the tank cleaner. I just don't have the time to do that kind of detail each day.

If you use tankwater (slightly warm) it takes about 40 seconds.

ok , so i bought my fish bloodworms they liked them but the worms dont really sink they just float & my tetras dont feed from the top of the tank, i had to scoop out the all the left over bloodworms..

You can also nuke em in the microwave for about 5 seconds
