I'm breeding Platys as Feeders for my Oscars,(a few lucky ones get to live in my others 20gal as show fish), however I'm unsure of the best thing to feed them so as to pass on the most nutrients to my Oscars. At the moment they're on Vitamen enriched flakes. Any advice would be apprieciated!

live foods are best, misquito larvae, brine shrimp, worms from the garden, platys love spinach, daphnea...

or else freeze dried and frozen are good. Most fish will do just as well on a good quality flake

If your going to feed the feeders brine shrimp, then gut load the shrimp with Spiralina

Feed them really healthy food (obviously )
I think good veggie foods would be best, so the oscar gets his veggies (do oscars eat vegetables at all? I don't know...)
