what is she feeding them?

Hi all, I belong to this site and was browsing through the Photos form the photo contest and found this one, it's the 17th picture of the livebearers and pleco in the feeding frenzy. are those blood worms? that was my guess at it, don't laugh at me, I have never fed them to my fish so I had no idea what the looked like. here's the link: http://thegab.org/Photocontest/ thanks again! -fishlover78

Yes those are Blood worms. Some people just drop the whole block in their tanks when they know they will be eaten immediately. I prefer to feed mine a few at a time. Most fish absolutely love them. As a steady diet they can be constipating, so gotta watch that
