What do you feed your Cories?

I wanna know what you guys feed your cories so I can get some more ideas. Would they eat peas? Thanks!

All my FW fish loved frozen brine shrimp including my cory. I would give that a go and see what happens. Post some pics.

Hope That Helps.

Usually a mix of the Omega shrimp pellets and Hikari algae waffers...that and whatever flake scraps fall to the bottom.

My daughter feeds hers Hikari algae waffers and occasionally cucumber or zucchini as a treat.

I would imagine they'd eat peas. Frozen, thawed, shelled and cut into tiny bits.

I wanted to buy my pleco and my cories those waffers.... but wowowowow it's expensive! So now I'll just give them zucchini and flakes - oh well.

Thank you Matt!!
I have some frozen brine shrimp and I use it to feed my betta and my guppies (which are in the same tank). Do you think that my cories ate the leftover brine shrimp that fell on the gravel? Or should I just take some and dump it just for them?

I feed mine Aquarian shrimp pellets and algae wafers, but I guess they got bored =P Hmm I wonder if Aquarian is a reliable brand.
Thank you!!

Would I have to do anything to the veggies? Or do I just attach a raw slice onto the veggie clip?
Ohhhh maybe that's why they did eat the peas. They weren't shelled. Haha
Thank you!!

Thank you!!

You can blanch them or microwave them briefly just to soften them up.
Remove the leftovers with 24hrs or they can pollute your tank.

My cories really enjoy the premium catfish pellets from Ken's Fish.

I would just let them eat the scraps because then they are always eagerly awaiting food and also then they clean your gravel aswell.

I am only glad to help.

I feed mine pellets and whatever the other fish eat. All my fish like leaf lettuce, even the barbs. I asume the also eat the algea growing on the rocks and gravel. Ive also noticed most of my fish like meaty foods.

I have five cories (4 Pandas & 1 Pepper) and they mostly eat the TetraMin tropical crisps, pieces of the Hikari sinking wafers and occasionally frozen bloodworms which is an exciting treat for them - they look like the dogs in the Disney movie "The Lady and the Tramp" in the spaghetti scene!
My cories don't seem to care for peas or veggies and they aren't even really that interested in the algae wafers.
When I feed them the crisps I make a point of tapping each with my finger to make it fall to substrate immediately so the cories don't have to wait and they are definitely like puppies when I lift the lid and they feel the movement in the water they all start scurrying about (this feeding procedure drove my older son crazy I'm sure when he was in charge of feeding this tank while my other son and I had to do a stint in the hospital for surgery - he looked at me a little wierd when I explained the process!

I feed my two the Hikari sinking wafers. They love those. They also go crazy for frozen bloodworm too, but if my Betta is around, they know better than to go near it lol. When I have bloodworm in the tank, he thinks it's all his.
