Remember though, no matter how good your flake food is every fish needs varitey so add some fresh and frozen stuff into their routine too.

After reading their ingredients, I'm planning on switching to Omega One foods once my Tetra Min flakes are all gone.
Same here.

dancerhas, good, after I read the ingredients on the tetra I really didn't like the fact that it had dyes in it. plus all thaat crud is not good for the fish and water. tetra makes their flake food seem so healthful and well rounded, well it ain't consumer beware

I have been using Omega One for almost a year now. I noticed a big change in the color of my fish after switching from the tetra brand flakes. I also give my fish freeze dried blood worms, river shimp and brine shrimp as treats a few times a week. Maybe one day a month I feed them live brine shrimp. They really like that stuff too.

I just bought some of the OSI brand for angelfish about a week ago and they liked it I was surprised. Because they are very picky but the women at the pet store said it was made especially for angelfish. That is cool now I have two good foods that they will eat.

I use Omega 1 as well. I like the ingredients they use. OSI is great as well I especially like their half float half sink pellets with spiriluna, algae meal and garlic.

^That does sound really good. Maybe I'll pick some up for the future mid-tank fish.

Switched over to Angelsplus.com food myself. Its a winner. Some of the best flake around as far as i'm concerned. So many varieties and you can custom blend it.

Aquatrol's spirulina 20 is the best flake I've tried so far.

O.S.I. Spirulina Flake Food provides a high amount of spirulina to your fishes. It can be fed to both freshwater and saltwater fishes. Spirulina is a strong natural source of pigments for coloring your fishes and also contains calcium spirulan to help stimulate your fishes' immune system. The flakes also contain all vitamins necessary for good health.

I bought some Omega one, and my fish hate it. They go for it, take a bit in and spit it out, then they just sit there and watch it float by until i put some tetra-min in which they love. Anyway to get them to eat it, or they just may be picky.

Ive tried mixing the two, as well as add some freeze dried bloodworms to the mix as well. still nothing.
