feeding problem

so in my 20gallon tank i have a dwarf gourami, an opaline gourami, a pleco, a black sword, 3 harliquin rasboras, and a platy.
but my tank doesnt have very much/any algae so i bought some algie sinking wafers for my pleco
but i noticed my fish are eating the algae wafer, and i havent really seen my pleco get any of it
any advice on feeding him? iv tried when the other fish are eating, right afte rthey are eating, and right before i turn off the lights
so far no luck

and is the algea wafter bad for them?

I drop mine in just after I turn off the lights.
No it won't hurt the other guys, they seem to love it. Its just you want to make sure your pleco is getting some of it. He probably is. (after lights out)
You could also feed him some par boiled zucchini, stick a piece on a fork to weight it down in the tank (good post by earlier member) and let him graze for 24 hours then remove.
My guys love it.
