has anyone every used hikari First bites, and what do you think about them, are you better off just powdering your own food

I just started using them with my baby platies and they seem to like it

its good for some fish, but i could never get my baby GBR's to eat it, because it was still too big for them

I used it, but found it just as easy to crush flakes to powder.

I use them with my angel fry. If you wet the tip of your finger with Vitachem and dip it in the First bites then swirl your finger in the water some will fall and some will float and they get their vitamins too

i got some just so my convicts can eat at first, cuase i wanted to powder some of my cichlid pellets for them alon with the flakes but i couldnt get them fine enough, i trust hikari, so i think it will help a bit, but convicts arent picky one bit anyways
