Vitamin Supplement?

I've read in threads about people using vitamin supplements in their tanks and decided that's it's time for me to start. I took a look on the Big Al's website and saw a bunch of different brands with different vitamins and supplements in them. I've narrowed it down to 2 that I think would be the best but can't decide which one would be best. They are Seachem Nourish, since I know Seachem has quality products, and Boyd Vita-Chem, since I recognized the name Vita-Chem from seeing it in different threads. So which would be the best one to get? Feel free to suggest another one if you think it's better.

I have and will be having: gouramis, tetras, cory cats, rams (probably german blues since that's all I can find in my area), a betta boy, and possibly a clown pleco and odessa or cherry barbs. (These are not/won't be all in one tank just in case you're wondering)

Vita-Chem is the one most use around here, but that might just be because it's more readily available.
SeaChem Nourish is likely a great product as well. As you say, SeaChem is a well-known, quality company.

When you buy vitaChem be aware there is a freshwater version and a saltwater version. I picked up the saltwater kind by accident which is fine but it lacks one of the b vitamins the freshwater has.

I did the same thing. The VitaChem website says this is fine, as Butterfly said, but FW is better formulated for FW tanks (go figure).

I copied a list of the ingredients and percentages and then compared them.

Hi, I am in the same page as nitz, considering using vitamins on a regular basis.

I recently purchased vitamins for healing an injured fish, who has recovered quite well and fast (still in the hospital tank). I used Boyd FW Vita-Chem, then changed to Tetra CichlidVital, since it is an African Cichlid.

How often do you add vitamins supplement? I know B-complex vitamins can accumulate in humans, and that can be harmful to us, so the same might apply to fish too. Any common mistakes in vitamin administration we should avoid?
