Store bought brine shrimp
I went the lazy route - bought brine shrimp from a LFS. I did a couple of bad things.
1. I didn't know how much to put in, so I dump all of them in, 1 oz of shrimp. I think most of them died from being in the freshwater too long.
2. I _definite_ overfed my fish. All of them have swollen up like they're about to give birth. Now, I'm super worried about their health. I hope they don't die on me.
So, my questions are:
1. Are store bought brine shrimp as good as home hatched? Obviously, I have no idea when these were hatched so their nutritional value is debatable. But, my fish still ate them up like they've been starving for days.
2. How much am I supposed to feed? When I brought home the brine shrimp, they were in salt water. I bought 1 oz of brine shrimp, netted out of hatchery, in about 2 cups of salt water. What's the best way to have done this?
3. How long would the brine shrimp live in the salt water, if I were to dole out a small amount at a time? Do I have days or hours to use them up? Would I need to put them in the fridge or room temperature is fine?
4. With any luck, my fish would survive this orgy of excess food. What sort of health problems should I keep an eye out? I've read that swim bladder disease is an issue with overfed fish.

Which tank did you feed the brine shrimp to?

Do a water change on this tank ASAP...Brine shrimp are like candy to fish...They don't know when "Enough is Enough" ....What kind of fish are in this tank?

I have 3 tanks and a hospital tank right now. All together, I have cherry shrimp, glass shrimp, snails, 5 neon rainbow fry, 1 platy fry, 3 neon tetra, 2 harlequin rasbora, 6 platy, 2 yoyo loach, 2 neon rainbow, 1 bosemani rainbow, 1 betta and 3 corys. I did a partial water change last night in the hospital tank. Fish in the other tanks seem to do ok. I did notice that my male neon rainbow has been swimming just below the water surface and gasping for air. I'm concerned...
Just looked at the freshwater fish disease page. I think it's oxygen starvation. It's the hospital tank so it's being medicated and temperature cranked up. I do have bubbles going 24/7. What else can I do to increase the oxygen level in the water?

Higher water temps has less oxygen...frequent changes will re-oxygenate the water

Can you add more aeration?

Add bubbler into the tank asap. If not perform frequent water change and since you've overfed them, try to take note of the water's parameter & do water changes if needed.

Thanks for all of your input. Unfortunately, the male neon rainbow passed away last night. I found his body this morning. The rest of the fish look fine though. I think I'll do another water change today to make sure there's enough clean water in the tank. It's difficult to treat 2 diseases (ich and fungus) at the same time. One requires high temperature and frequent water change while the other needs medication in that water change would dilute the medication.

I'm sorry that you lost him, but I hope the others all do fine.
