Cucumber in tank - REPLYS SOON PLEASE!

I was wondering about putting a piece of cucumber in my tank.
I heard it was a good treat for the fish, and wouldn't hurt them.
And to put it in at night, and remove it in the morning.

Is this right?
Is there anything i should worry about?

Thanks!

okay, thanks for your help.
I'm worried it's too big though,
I mean, It's not HUGE, but its maybe an inch thick,

I wouldn't worry too much about it. One reason you want to take it out is that the mollies will stop eating shortly after lights out, while the pleco will find it shortly after lights out.

I find with cucumber slices that we can leave them in the tank for a couple days. It also helps to microwave them about 10 seconds after peeling the slices.

I do this, too, but I've never had cukes in a tank with mollies. I know that mollies are little pigs (possibly as much as bettas) and will eat until they're ready to explode, so leaving one in while the mollies can get it might be dangerous.
