Food for platys and corys

Hi all,

Thanks for a great site. I have learned alot. I have a 29 gallon tank with 5 Red Wag Platys and 4 Cory Catfish. I have been feeding them flake food.

After reading things on this site I am going to switch over to Omega One flakes. My Wardley and TetraColor flakes all have fish meal.

My question is what else can I feed them? If you could also give me brand names that would help too.

Hello and welcome to fishlore
Your Omega One is a great brand of flakes for your fish. You can also try feeding them Hikari brand frozen brine shrimp for a treat now and then.

Omega One also does veggie rounds that your cories will love.

Welcome to Fishlore.

You could also get a veggie clip and put in a slice of cucumber or zucchini (cut the skin off to avoid pesticides in the tank water). They also go for green beans and sometimes a piece of fruit like cantaloupe.
