I bought some of those algae wafers to help feed the Pleco's. But every time i drop a couple in the tank the other fish immediatly go for them. I have tryed adding them the same time i feed them their flake/pellets and i have tryed adding then later at night after the lights been out and still no luck, If they make it to the bottom of the tank they find them shortly after and start to eat them

How do you know if your pleco's are getting enough to eat if the other fish are eating the wafers?

I have a rubber pleco and my corys always eat the wafers first. I have tried zuchinni, lettuce and cucumber but he has shown no interest. There is some algea in my tank but it doesn't seem enough to me. Let me know if you figure out any tricks to get them to eat or know if they are eating enough.

You may have better luck with veggie slices on a veggie clip and you could also try to encourage algae growth.
