Live blood worms!

Hi there fish lovers.

I feed my gourami frozen blood worms daily and have been for a while. I only noticed today while vac cleaning the pebbles on the bottom and i stirred up the water that there were lots of little blood worms floating around the tank.

As somone who has never put a live blood worm in my tank i was suprised there were baby blood worms wriggling around and quite a few of them. i watched as they made it back to the bottom and wriggled their way back into the pebbles to hide.
Has anyone else had this happen to them at all, should i be worried ?

Blood worms

Hi sounds like your feeding them to much.I would cut back a bit, perhaps half of what your already feeding. They might die and pollute your tank.

I've not seen that happen. I would agree on cutting back the amount and perhaps feeding them just a little at a time so they get most of the bloodworms.

Yeah i have cut back on the food since. i also gone over the gravel 2 times in the last week to get as much out as possible. Apart from that the water is super clean and the fish are happy chappys!
