I was reading that gouramis like to eat peas, romaine lettuce, and zucchini. But what kind of peas? Can they be frozen or fresh from the store? I'm sure they aren't the canned, right? I have bloodworms, tubifex worms, baby shrimp, and flakes. Am I missing anything? Thanks

I use frozen, just thawed and cut into tiny pieces. If you use fresh, they would have to be nuked for a bit, I am thinking. Someone told me when I first started not to use canned, since they have so much sodium.

And if the fresh lettuce and zuchs aren't organic , be sure to gently wash them, in case they have been sprayed with chemicals. (I don't use organic).

It looks as though you are off to a good start, and have a good variety of foods. Great job!

Thawed, frozen & peeled peas torn into little pieces are what we feed to our fish. We have used canned (with no salt) before but the frozen or fresh are better for them.
