SO how do i know how much to feed? The store guy says 3 times a week, the bottles say 1,2 and 3 times a day. A bit confusing. Lately been doing either every other day or 1 a day.
My catfish don't touch the foods their happy just skimming over the ground and wood. The others when I drop food in do a mad rush.
I use veggie wafers HBH, Nutrafin Max flake and some betta food HBH, I alternate them.

One thing I've learned over time: Never listen to the "store guys". Most of them know little to nothing and give horrible advice. If you find someone who actually knows what he/she is talking about, patronize that store!

What kind of fish do you have? Many livebearers (and bettas) will literally eat until they die, so should be fed sparingly at each meal.

i think the best thing to do is to feed them twice a day, feeding them half of a full feeding each time. Basically it's feeding them once a day, but by splitting it into 2 meals, you allow the fish to better digest their food and can reduce the amount of uneaten food.

foods basically gone in a couple min, I use one Veggie wafer (size of a dime) basically for the 5 of them.
