Spirulina Formula (Ocean Nutrition) cubes

I bought a package of these recently to try another source of spirulina other than in flakes.

Does anyone else use these cubes?

The other frozen foods I use I thaw out in a small cup of tank water, but these are gelatinous cubes so it doesn't disperse once thawed and (when cut up into bits) sinks like a rock (fine for the otos and the cories, not so much the Silver Dollars). For now I've been hand feeding little slices to the fish. I was considering hanging it from a thread and letting the fish pick at it. Anyone have other ideas of how to "plate up" these?

we put some fresh treated water in a container that we can seal and drop the cube in that to thaw it out. Then we can drop a little at a time in, close it up and store it in the fridge. We'll keep it for about a week and toss any that is left, if any is.

Thanks for the note that I can save this an parcel it out over a few days. I was cutting a cube in half, halving the amount of flakes and adding it in little bits.

I have to note - I've only added this during evening feedings for 3 days now and the color enhancing properties of this stuff is amazing - the red hooks on my Silver Dollars are two shades darker.
