Re: Which veggies???
zucchini is another good veggie along with green beans or peeled peas. cantaloupe is a fruit that's been popular with ALL of our fish too.

Re: Which veggies???
With cucumbers and zucchini, do you blanch them first or just put them in raw? I tried a raw baby English cucumber (that I peeled the green "skin" off) and after a day the oto still hadn't touched it, so I took it out. I bought a veggie clip, but thought I would ask before I try anything. What about watermelon? I saw cantalope, so I thought I would ask...
Thanks,
-M

Re: Which veggies???
You dont' need to blanch it, but they'll only start really liking it after a day as it becomes soft. I know it's not recommended to leave stuff for very long, but mine just won't take off the vegetable from day 2.

Re: Which veggies???
yea, that's what i hear - that they like the soft veggies.. i think you can use a short time in the microwave to soften them up or let them sit in a sealed container of water for a day or 2, then drop them in.. or let them soften in the tank.
