Re: TREATS FOR MY BABIES

Depending on what kind of fish they may enjoy peas about once a week as a treat.
Tell us a little bit about your tank and the fish in it that will help us know what kind of treats to suggest.

Re: TREATS FOR MY BABIES

all of those would enjoy thawed frozen blood worms as treats about once or twice a week.
They might enjoy a variety of flakes also, regular flakes, veggie flakes, color flakes etc. freeze dried shrimp are always taken greedily around here. Just use your imagination

our fish like chocolate once a week and once a month, they like a hamburger. no fish sticks!

our bettas actually enjoy fruit treats sometimes, especially fruits like cantaloupe. and even the wild bettas love the pea treats.

"live" doesn't actually mean alive... it just means it isn't processed like flakes or pellets. They are either frozen or freeze dried. The frozen might not work well for you, but the freeze dried should be good. They are light and almost crispy almost like flakes (just in a tiny worm shape). And just so you know they are actually the larva of mosquito's, so if you've ever been bitten by mosquito's... you really won't mind feeding the bloodworms to your fish .

Re: TREATS FOR MY BABIES

Some people (myself included) get itchy if handling the freeze-dried blood worms. We use a pair of tweezers with rounded tips (because our bettas get enthusiastic for food) to pick up and drop each worm in.
