After a few months of keeping 6 juvenile Firemouths, two of which died, a pair is already stablished. Three weeks ago I noticed the Silver Dollars school avoiding the left extreme of the tank (the used to hang around the dense Cambomba on that part).

As I was getting ready to go into maintenance today, I was surprised by a good number (maybe 50?) of 1/2 inch baby Firemouths swimming under mom and dad cover in that corner of the 145gal Tiger Oscar tank.

I will not disturb that part of the tank for now. I just started spreading fish food for tiny fishes.

Wow cool! Can you post some pics of the babies? I've never seen Firemouth fry before.
