Fluvel 203 - Modifications -

So my canister and I finally decided to have it out... It was used when I got it so yes it has it's quirks. It doesn't have all the clip things to hold the top on (but you only need two I've found out), but the biggest issue I've had with it are the valves on the hose. They don't work, you can close them (with a lot of effort) but then you can't get them to open again. Well I re-did the 32 today and decided to fight with the filter.
The fight ended with a pair of scissors and me getting ready to go to Canadian Tire. I'm gonna see if I can find a replacement valve... wish me luck.

Have you tried here ?
Going to Canadian Tire or Home Depot is like looking for a needle in a hay pile. Good luck with that

Lol well yesterday was unsuccessful but that was mostly my fault. I bummed a ride of a friend and never made it to Home Depot (everything closed early due to remembrance day) and Canadian tire had what I wanted just not the size I needed.
Click: The Fluvel 203 I have is a discontinued model to finding parts for it is like looking for a needle in a hay stack. Also I want to find a basic on/off sort of valve that would make maintenance easier and I don't need to worry about it breaking on me again.

Update:
Ok for the cost of $22.xx I now have two plastic valves, 10 feet of hose, steel hose clamps, and the 4 adapter things to attach the hose to the valves. After more then a month since I lost my temper with the valves on my canister I now have what I need to put it back together. It should be back up and running Wednesday and I'll have pictures of the improvements up as well.
