Which cannister filter to get?

I have a 75 gallon aquarium that currently has 2 whisper 60's on it. They are on their last legs now though and I want to go with a canister this time.

Eheim seems to be the most popular, and most everything I read about them is good. So, is The Eheim Classic 2215, the right filter for my aquarium?

Right now I have(but who knows in the future):

1 red-tailed shark
3 dwarf neon rainbowfish
10 tetras
2 gold dojos
2 botias
4 cories
1 common pleco (rescued)

Thanks!

That filter sounds good but others in the forum like the Rena's or Fluval 405 sounds good too. I'm getting ready to get some money together to get me a FX5 for my 100 African tank.

Is the 2215 enough for a 75 gallon?

Some say I need the 2217...

if you have the option, youre better off with the 2217.

I guess it'll be worth it to spend the extra $50 and go with the 2217!

absolutely
also, the eheim classics are workhorse filters. not a lot of frills, but they are good at what they do.
looking back, i would take a couple classics over my 2227/2229 anyday
