UV filter

I have a HOB filter on my 30gal. And it seems to be doing the job excellently with healthy clear water; but i read about UV filters... Are they any good? would y'all pros recommend them? Or will my HOB filter do the job just fine?

Good morning. I'm sure you'll get some responses from members that have used the UV filters. Too, you can go to the "reviews" section of the forum and possibly find even more information there.
