Can't Find GPH for Whisper 30-60

I have a whisper 30-60 that came with a tank I got last week. Does anyone know the GPH on these? I couldn't find it on their website.

Good morning BB. The Whisper EX30 has 160gph. Is your Whisper and older filter BB? I don't see one listed as 30/60.

Oh I see you just got it. Still it sounds like an older model.

According to the parts list found here, the 30-60 uses the same impeller and motor as the 60, which pushes 330gph. I'd guess it's probably somewhere in the same neighborhood.

It is an older model. I don't know when they quit making them, though. I've got a Whisper 20/40 on one of my 20 gallon tanks, but the other filter on the tank pushes 150gph, so I wasn't too worried.

Thank you for your help gentlemen I'm upgrading tanks and setting up some new ones this weekend, so I want to make sure I have my filtration covered.

They probably haven't stopped making them, just changed the name. I don't use them myself, aquaclears are more versatile.

Funny you should say that, Carol. One of the tanks I'm setting up is a 75g.

Are those the only two you run on it? If so, how's it working for ya?

I'm still trying to figure out what filters are going on what tanks and the highest gph filters are staying on so I don't lose my cycle on any of these. I've gotten more filters so once I get it figured out, we can upgrade tanks and add new tanks without losing any of that beneficial bacteria.

Those are the only two filters I run on the 75g. I always try to run two filters on my longer tanks to keep from having dead spaces(no circulation spaces). I have extra pieces of tubing on the uptake tubes so they are just a few inches above the substrate. They do a really good job. I really like the sponges they use for filtration.
I prefer aquaclears usually but this is what I have on the 75g

Sweet! Yep, Whisper 30-60 is definitely going on the 75g.

I don't feel bad, then. I run two filters on all my tanks except my 5 gallon betta tanks due to paranoia and unexpected MTS.

Thank you Carol.
