I just got an aquaclear
powerhead 30 for some additional filtering.
On the "swivel strainer plate" there is a little lever to slide along a graphic that goes from narrow to wide. OK easy enuf - more or less current. And when I take it apart I see how the lever moves from a smaller to a larger hole.
But around the perimeter of this plate are ruler like notches labeled 1 -6 aligning with an arrow on the pump base. I cannot figure out what rotating this does. nothing in the instructions and even when I take it apart I don't see that it does anything.
So someone show me how I once again am oblivious to the obvious.
