I have a 350 bio penguin filter. It came to me used so I don't have the instructions/part page. I looked on line for something without success.
What I would like to know is what the parts are called and what they do. I'm an idoit with things like this. Impeller?
As long as I can plug something in and it works, that's great; I don't want to get into the details.
Yet this thing, the filter, I need to know how it works and what the parts are called.

I wasn't necessarily looking for JUST my filter info. I just know to plug the thing in and poor water into it to get it going. I truly don't know how the darned things really work. As I said, I'm missing a link in the noggin when it comes to these things.

Well I have the parts page and information page right in front of me. Anything mechanical is pretty much greek to me as well... but I can look up anything specific for you... or I can scan it and find someway of posting it or getting it to you if you want. It shows how the parts go together... but it doesn't seem to go into any real detail on how the parts really work.

Ok, so ur challenged with these kind of things too! Thank you for taking the time & effort to dig it out. Don't go to any more trouble.
I suppose from this little thread that I learned filters are NOT all the same. I thought that they at least worked the same way.

No effort at all... I keep all my equipment paperwork in the cabinet below the tank... so there was no digging involved. I can't keep my test kits or other chemicals there due to having small children in the house... so I have to keep something there.

If you change your mind just let me know. It is really no problem to scan it or look something up for you. I get some of my stuff second hand too... I have a couple of filters that I'm not really sure how to use either. Guess I'll have to figure it out when I set up the tank in the girls room.
