Canister filter: which one?

Hi
Looking to upgrade filtration in my 145gal Oscar tank. (Actual system: three AquaClear 110; AND two Resun internal Wet/Dry BF-200 both with attached UV-C 5W).

Thinking of upgrading to a Canister, keeping one AquaClear 110, one Resun BF-500 (with UV-C at 9W).

I have the following options available locally:
Fluval 405 canister filter (340GPH) rated for tanks up to 100gal

Boyu EFU-35 (250GPH + UV-C) rated for tanks up to 145gal
(note: this one is 220V, 50Hz, local AC is 120V, 60Hz, parts might be difficult to get)

Marineland HOT Pro Bio Canister Filter (350GPH) rated for tanks up to 100gal

I'm waiting for the price of a Marineland HOT 350 (not the Pro Bio).

Pros and Cons you know about running one or more of these is welcomed!

Hi pepetj
I've just recently purchased a Fluval filter (205) and it seems to be doing a great job , nice and quiet too .
If i was to pick on something it would be the length of hose that comes with it . On my tank stand/cupboard it was JUST long enough to have the inlet at one end and the outlet at the other . Replacement/extra hose should be available from your stockist so its not really any drama , I had to pick on something ...lol

Fluval,Eheim, and Marineland are all great canisters. If you are going to buy online, this is by far the cheapest place to get them,

The choice is really up to you,but I have several Marineland C series and would highly recommend them.
