I will be cleaning my filter soon, and wondered if you guys had any usage of the waste. I have a compose heap but is there any thing else you can do with it?

what do you mean the waste? if you just rinse your filter in a bucket of tank water that you remove out of the tank, thats all it needs...I then use that water from the dirty filter and fish tank to water plants...they love it!!

Yes i was thinking of watering the plants with it, but thought it might be a bit early in the year

I use it on indoor and outdoor plants...

I have only one house plant at the moment, a money plant, it's getting quite big, I'll give that some and the rest will go out on the lawn and rose's
