I went out and bought a Fluval 305. It looks like a great filter and I'm pretty excited to get it up and running.
I'm having one major concern though. I was reading reviews and I came across the "the seal broke and flooded my room" people. To me this was like being told I could get life saving surgery then finding out the doctor only has one eye! Now on the other hand, if this doesn't happen I'll have a great filter. It easily triples all aspects (chem/bio/mech) of my current filter as well as increasing
GPH.
Is this really something to be concerned about? I have a small room and I have to say if this happened, it would be pretty catastrophic.
Arg, why did I have to read those reviews!
