| Eheim Classic 2215. Please Help Me!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi all, Just got my new eheim classic 2215 yesterday. Very vague instructions, also very vague information i could find on google.
The filter came with a blue course pad and a fine white pad.

Chris | Hi Chris.
I found this article on how to set up your Eheim. It goes into great detail on what you need besides the blue and white pads and all the "how to" put it together instructions you will need.
Hope it helps! http://laurabeestable.blogspot.com/2...r-dummies.html |

You may be able to find these at your Ehiem supplier. [quote from her article second paragraph"]
Included with the filter are: a long piece of tubing, a long j-shaped intake pipe, a straight output pipe with holes down it, a plug for the end of the output pipe, two two-part gang valves, a rigid curved open piece, a small curved pipe, and suction cups to attach the pipes in the aquarium. Filter media included in the canister are: two packages of different subtrates, a course blue filter, a finer white filter, a carbon filter, and two plastic "grates" (for lack of knowing their proper name).[unquote] |

Then the filter motor fit back onto the top of the canister and got latched on with the little latches around the canister.[unquote:]
two types of media, one is the ball shaped which sounds like the bio orbs and the other is the ceramic noodles which can also be found in fish supply stores.
Not sure why your's did not come with it tho. But you can find replacements. Even another brand is fine to use, such as the Aqua clear bio orbs for an example. |

| Chris,
check out this link its from Dr Foster and Smith site. When you are on the page click on more info where they describe the filter. A small box will open. If you go down the page in that box you will see info on all the filter media that goes in there and I think it will help you to at least know the name of the items that you will need to add to your filter.
Hope it helps... http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...03&pcatid=3603 |
