I was planning on getting an aqua clear power filter but i dont know if i should get a poower head or a power filter. What are the benifets can i still add like biological stuff to a power head ??

You can see pictures of my 30 gal hex on my profile. I don't use a powerhead, but I added an extension on my intake to get lower/better filtration. Since hex tanks are "relatively" deep, problems occur with poor filtration also in my case, because it's heavily planted, your light wattage tends to be higher to penetrate the water.
