I was just wondering if there is such thing as too much filtration? I have a 5 gallon tank and the filter it came with it is kinda week I was going to put a Tetra whisper in with it... the tank is going to be used to treat my sick dalmation molly then when I get the water staightened up I was going to put my new fry babies in it. Is it safe to run both of them?

The only way there can be too much filtration is if the filtration produces too much current for the fish in the tank.

you can never over filter, just under filter, and when you make it into a fry tank, put some stockings over the intake tubes so they fry don't get sucked up! -fishlover78
