Newbie needs filter help for 20 Long

First, hello to everyone!

I'm going to be setting up a 20 gallon long ... and I'm debating between two of the exact same canister filters but with different GPH ratings. I'm looking for advice as to which GPH the majority would favor.

The two filters I'm looking at are the fairly new Marineland C-160 canister (160 GPH ~ 3 media baskets) and the slightly larger Marineland C-220 (220 GPH ~ 4 media baskets).

Going by the 10x recommendation, I'm leaning towards the C-220. However, would there actually be a tremendous difference between the two in a 20 long? Marineland rates the C-160 for up to 30 gallons.

I should also note that regardless of the model chosen, I'm considering adding an Eheim aquaball to help aerate the tank and for additional smaller scale filtration.

Thanks in advance for any help. And again, great forum!

I have to say the more filtration the better.
I had two large HOB on the 55gal one suited for 40-70gal the other for a 110 gal.
They did a great job.
I've since divided the two and put the smaller on a 25 gal tank. Its still more than needed but works beautifully.
