?'s about getting a new tank

I have decided that I am getting another 33gal tank. it will be a while because I need to start saving dough that would normally go to starbuck's in the morning, etc. the tank is 4 feet long and a foot deep, if I have one tetra whisper power filter for 60 gals on one end will the other end be filtered evenly or should I have 2-20i or 30i's (one on each end)? I also rather not have one filter in the middle. the store owner said to just throw in a box filter and it can be hid so that you always have a good amount of bacteria growing in there so the fish are healthy, is this true? please reply with your opinions!

I would go for an external filter. 4 foot like 120cmx45x45 thats like a 64gallon tank right there sweet oi. if you had a filter on each end that will most liklely produce alot of current witch some fish dont like.

yeah its 4 feet but its shallow (12"), so should I get one filter for one end? what should I do? and the box would be for extra filter of the gravel. thanks Steen16

thanks, and is the box filter deemed useless for keeping a good amount of bacteria in the tank?

the filter isnt the only thing that holds the bacteria, the gravel the ornaments and any filter will hold good amounts of bacteria
