I got a bunch of stuff from this guy and one of them is a hand made filter. (pic are here: http://picasaweb.google.com/JadedNightDragon/Fish). I also e-mailed him too but maybe you guys can figure this out. Also I got a Python 50. What are those used for? The only thing I could think of is using it to drain and refill the aquarium.

I don't know anything about that filter, but you correct about the Python. It works a lot like a waterbed draining kit, if you've ever used one.

I was about to lecture you on the nitrogen cycle, but I see you have had that conversation elsewhere.
