Hey guys,
I was looking through SkyMall when I was comming back from Arizona, anyways I saw something that caught my eye. I guess that hiq-usa made a filter system or something, where you basically never have to change the water in your fish tank ever again...I like the way that sounds.

Personally, unless its proven, I don't trust it. Also I don't know if I can trust a company who can't even use a spell check. And as long as you maintain your tank regularly, you don't have to do huge water changes anyways.

If you read "Additional chemical filtration is provided by the media inside the Clean Magic packs, and are replaced every other week" and click on their "Clean Magic" link, its carbon, limestone and zeolite which costs you $9 every other week. Adds up pretty quick over time. ($234 for 1yr/26weeks).

It would be a cool idea if they could remove the ammonia and dead bacteria without having to change that constantly. Plus not everyone is going to change that regularly every other week imo.
