question about my new tank

i have a 10 gallon tank right now with a filter that is for 5-15 gallons, but i also have an old filter that was on my gf's tank but she doesnt use any more, i am getting a new 20 gallon tank in about a week and am not going to use my 10 gallon, so my question is would it be ok to use 2 10 gallon filters instead of going out and buying a new filter for this tank? both filters dont have any adjustments (dont know if that matters or not) thanks

I think that if the hood allows room for it, that would be fine. Just look at the GPH for both filters and try to get a total of 200 gph at least.

ok so as long as the 2 filter pump out at least 200 gallons per hour then they should work fine?

Yea, I think that would be no problem.

I usually try to have some overload on my GPH that the filters are filtering. But yes 200gph would be fine, you will just need to keep up with your water changes.

As of right now I have 180gph more than what I really need and I found that it just keeps your water even more clear and clean.
