water current

hi all,
i was wondering about the water current in my tank.
i have a 75 Gal. tank with UGF and im using one powerhead aqueraclear 70s on each UGF so i got two power heads going then i have a outside filter aquraclear 110.
the water current is strong in the tank i have the two power heads pointing toward the center of the tank it knocks around my angle fish lol and the smaller ones also. should i have them pointing some other way or is the strong water current o.k.?

It depends on the fish. I don't think angels like a lot of current. They're from the Amazon basin, which tends to be pretty slow. You might angle the powerheads to point at something that will break the current up a bit. I have mine pointing at the end of a piece of driftwood to keep it from creating a whirlpool in my tall hex.

i don't really got anything to point them at to break it up. unless i point them at each other, along the back of tank maybe. i had one pointing at the front wall and all my lil tetras was playing like carzy in the current that was bouncing off the wall lol
