i only have the one filter in my tank is it the right filter look at the aqarium info the filters name is there

your aquarium info is lacking alot of information... how big is your tank, how big is your filter, what are your water readings? also, it says that you don't know about the nitrogen cycle... you really should check into that!

it is an 38 us gallon tank

and your filter is what size? i would suggest a filter that's box suggested it for a 120g tank. or somewhere around an output of 190gph. really though you should try to be more thorough in your information/research, etc.

I think that is a small pond filter but I could be wrong. Made for 150 gallon I think so you should be fine as long as the flow isnt too strong for your fish.
I think you need to move it up a bit though, notice the max water line?

i even did a search for it and couldnt find a thing...weird.
