But not necessarily enough. Many crustaceans can live for quite awhile on minimal food. Doesn't mean it's good for them, just that they can do it.
Try target feeding him. Get a little bit of raw shrimp or something of the sort (I think fiddlers are mostly carnivorous. Check that out, first. If they're herbivores, use nori or some other vegetable) and use a forceps to hold the food really close to him. You might have to be still for awhile, but he'll probably eventually snag what you've got.
