I have it moderately planted (I'll post a pic in a bit) with fake plants. I am new, I went to petsmart and saw these guys and had to get them.. of course I wasn't told about their incompatibility. Do they ever eventually leave each other alone? I dunno what happened? He was never bullied. I checked my water parameters. ammonia 0 nitrite 0 Nitrates at 10. Did a water change just after I found the body. I had him for about a month and a half and he was doing just fine.

Some of you are probably thinking "not another one." :nono: I saw the thread on that virus that these guys seem to be getting. I got my beauty from my LFS. They are pretty good with how they take care of their livestock. They constantly check for water problems. They also will not sell from a tank that shows any sign of illness or deaths. Not til it's in the clear. They are also pretty knowledgable on the fish, aquariums, even cycling of the tanks. But anything is possible. So if anything happens I'll be sure to let you know.
