I have only found 1 but I pulled her (I think its a her going by fins but shes so small I cant tell) out of the 125 before she got eaten and put her into a divided part of my 125g. I think I will call her ginger in tribute to the molly I recently lost :). :;hug2

Pics will follow when I get a camera!!

Hello everyone. I have a dalmatian molly, which i think is pregnant by the size of her belly, but am not for sure. I am new to fish keeping and have no experience so far. I just bought her three days ago, and so if she is then she already was when i bought her. Just in case she is i have a breeding net and plenty of plants on the bottom of the tank. I attached two pictures of her if anyone would like to look at them and tell me if they think she is?

And also i have a black molly who is a male, and he has been acting strange. I bought him on the same day as the dalmatian molly. At first he acted normally, but after i added a couple more guppies to my tank (if this matters) he has hidden in spots in the tank where the other fish can't find him. He only comes out for food, and when he does the lone female dalmatian molly acts very aggressively toward him chasing him around the tank until he goes back and hides. Does anyone know whats going on with him?

I have a 16 gallon tank, 2 mollies, and 6 guppies (3M & 3F).
i've tested the water multiple times and everything is normal.
temp is 78 F

I'm new to the fish world. I purchased 3 platy's about 3 months ago and put in a 2.5 gallon tank. They are doing fine. I then decided to upgrade to a 10 gallon tank... and when talking to the girl at the fish store... told her that one of my platy's was getting fat... she said to get a breeder tank. Well, I bought it just incase. I set-up my 10 gallon tank last night so I could get it going and hopefully buy fish next week-end (of course after testing the water)... This morning when I was checking on my fish in the 2.5 gallon tank and cleaning... noticed 2 little tiny fish --- my yellow platy gave birth overnight. I didn't know what to do... so I separated the red & orange platy by putting in the 10 gallon tank (hopefully I didn't shock them in the transfer) and isolated the yellow "Mother" platy.... I haven't seen any new ones in the breeder tank... How long should I keep "Mother" in the breeder tank?

Help!
