Can anyone tell me what these white spots are? This is new Malaysian wood that came pre-packaged. It is soaking in dechlorinated water in a new tank in a dark place. There were a few spots when I first rinsed it off but now there are heaps of them. Does anyone know if it will be safe to use & how I can get rid of the spots? I can scrub them off where I can get a scrubbing brush into but there a lots in places I can't get to that I want to remove. They are hard to scrub off & I'm just hoping they don't come back in these places.
