I recently purchased a lifeguard scratch remover kit to remove some of the scratches on my tanks. I tried it out and was very disappointed because my tank actually looks worst. I followed the instructions, but my tank is all hazy. Does anyone have any tips?

I have a power compact lighting system (half 130w of actinic and half 130w of daylight) and i just bought a crocea clam that ive place very close to the top. I am now going to buy a new (150 gallon) tank and im looking at lighting systems. Metal Halide is too expensive and i cant find a proper sized T5. Will a 320 or 380 (dependant upon size of tank) be ok if the clam is placed up close or is this system already sufficient?
