List the earliest Historical Event or just happening in you life!!!
So I will start! No actual age guessing...just events.

Dear Dogs,

When I say to move, it means go someplace else, not switch positions with each other so there are still two dogs in the way.

The dishes with the paw print are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help, because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king size bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue to sleep on the couch to ensure your comfort. Look at videos of dogs sleeping, they can actually curl up in a ball. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space used is nothing but doggy sarcasm.

My compact discs are not miniature Frisbees.

For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, try to turn the knob, or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. In addition, I have been using bathrooms for years, canine attendance is not mandatory.

The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dogs backside. I cannot stress this enough. It would be such a simple change for you.

Sincerely,
Your Overwhelmed Owner

Your Yearly Dementia Test

It's that time of year to take our annual senior citizen test.
Exercise of the brain is as important as exercise of the
muscles. As we grow older, it's important to keep mentally alert.. If
you don't use it, you lose it! Below is a very private way to gauge your
loss or non-loss of intelligence.

Take the test presented here to determine if you're losing it or
not.. The spaces below are so you don't see the answers until you've
made your answer.
OK, relax, clear your mind and begin.

1. What do you put in a toaster?

Answer: 'bread.' If you said 'toast,' give up now and do
something else.
Try not to hurt yourself. If you said, bread, go to Question 2.

2. Say 'silk' five times. Now spell 'silk.' What do cows drink?

Answer: Cows drink water. If you said 'milk,' don't attempt the
next question. Your brain is over-stressed and may even overheat.
Content yourself with reading a more appropriate literature such as Auto
World. However, if you said 'water', proceed to question 3.

3. If a red house is made from red bricks and a blue house is
made from blue brick s and a pink house is made from pink bricks and a
black house is made from black bricks , what is a green house made from?

Answer: Greenhouses are made from glass. If you said 'green
bricks,'
why the heck are you still reading these???
If you said 'glass,' go on to Question 4.

4. It's twenty years ago, and a plane is flying at 20,000 feet
over Germany (If you will recall, Germany at the time was politically
divided into West Germany and East Germany .) Anyway, during the flight,
two engines fail. The pilot, realizing that the last remaining engine is
also failing, decides on a crash landing procedure. Unfortunately the
engine fails before he can do so and the plane fatally crashes smack in
the middle of 'no man's land' between East Germany and West Germany .
Where would you bury the survivors? East Germany , West Germany , or no
man's land'?

Answer: You don't bury survivors.
If you said ANYTHING else, you're a dunce and you must stop. If
you said, 'You don't bury survivors', proceed to the next question.

5. Without using a calculator - You are driving a bus from
London to Milford Haven in Wales . In London , 17 people get on the bus.
In Reading , six people get off the bus and nine people get on. In
Swindon, two people get off and four get on . In Cardiff , 11 people get
off and 16 people get on . In Swansea , three people get off and five
people get on. In Carmathen, six people get off and three get on. You
then arrive at Milford Haven.
What was the name of the bus driver?

Answer: Oh, for crying out loud!
Don't you remember your own name? It was YOU!!

I try to feed my fined babies a variety of food.

I've heard puffers like krill so I bought a jar of the freeze dried variety for my stars & stripes puffer, Steve. I soaked it as directed and placed it in the tank. Steve freaked out and swam to the other side of the tank and hid behind some live rock!

I still had leftover silverside fish from my wolf eel, so I decided to give one to Steve. He swam to the other side of the tank and tried to bury himself in the sand!lol!

Is is just me, or is my puffer defective? :;dk

Grab the scale with both hands and squeeze, divide the number by 2 to get "per hand." Easy.

I can grip with 120lbs per hand.

My wife, with all her feminine grace, can grip with 30lbs. :;laughing
I'm curious, how much force can you grip with?

A True Story

Each Day at Pearly Gates, St. Peter asked the same questions time after to time. One Day he decieded to change a bit; as it turned out, the next three inline used to be tropical fish hobbyists.

St Peter asked the first one, What type of fish did you keep? the second man replied "Killies". St. Peter immeditly pulled the lever and the Killi nut dropped through the shaft into the fiery depths below.

the second fellow hobbiest stepped forward and St. Peter asked him What type of fish did you keep? the second man replied, I always had Live bearers. St. Peter again pulled the lever. and the man dropped into the fiery depths below. Two down one to go.

The third man stepped forward a bit shakened because of what he justed witnesed. St Peter again asked And what fish did you keep. a bit scared with guilt and almost in a whisper he said Cichlids. St peter took his hand to the lever pushed the gold button and said Come on in you already been through Hades already!
hoped you guys liked it:)

Has claimed it for his/her own. Pretty darn precocious, if I don't say so myself. However, a name change may be in order... "Otta?"

Yes, I know that it's not certain. Maybe I have a feminine male? Hehe....

Hi Everyone. This one could be put into several categories. First of all, I didn't take any pics at the time because I was pretty embarrassed, but decided to put 'pen to paper' 'cause, in the end, it does have a good ending.
Got up early this Sunday morning as I do, and sitting down to a coffee, glanced out my back door to see a blackbird by our back fence in our garden border. It's the time of year all the young ones are about learning to fly, and just below it, I'd see the occasional silver flash, and I was looking for a baby flicking about in the mulch. Kept seeing this flash, but couldn't make out any babies. As Mrs Life came in, I explained, and she eventually spotted the flashing.
Immediately she said 'it's a fish!'
Well we got out real fast to spot all these danios gasping to remain alive! Confused?
Some may know that we have a pond full of Comets, Shubunkins, Danios and Mountain Minnows. Last Thursday evening around 7pm (still daylight), I decided to turn on the tap to top up the pond, got distracted and forgot to turn on the timer on our oven. Had a quiet evening and went to bed around 11pm after dozing off in front of the telly.
Friday morning up at 5am. Usually off to work by 6:30am but but had to travel direct to site. Still dark at five, and with a coffee at hand, got some preparation done at the same spot where I look out over my back yard. Our tanks are in this room, so I would often watch what the residents are up to.
As the darkness is turning to light, to my absolute horror, I saw water lapping against our back door! Our dog kennel faces our back door about 2 feet away with Sandy in it, surrounded by water.
Of course I knew what I'd done, racing out to turn off the water. It was a flood. The yard slopes away, so the deepest part would have been 7-8 inches. Needless to say, our plants got a deep soaking.
Could not see any fish out of the pond, but then again, I would have only been able to spot the goldies.
Broke the news calmly to Mrs Life who was still in bed - enough said about that! By evening, the water had only receded about 2 metres from the door, and no way of telling if there were any escapees.
The garden beds were so water logged that by Saturday evening there was still water in the back yard.
We discovered the danios in less than half an inch of water this morning, and many were mixed in mulch where there was no free water to actually swim.
I scooped up some water from the pond and poured it into their spot to give them some swimming space while Mrs Life got some plastic spoons. One by one, I put them into an icecream container with pond water. I must have retrieved over 30 of them, and they all survived! Where we found them is the lowest point in our yard, and I haven't been able to find any dead fish anywhere. The total area flooded was about 10metres wide by 6metres towards the fence at its peak.
Not looking forward to our next water bill. I had that tap running at a good pace for nearly 12 hours. Next time, I'll turn on the timer before I turn on the tap.....if I remember!!!
My signature says it all!

Okay, it's now official, I REALLY need a chaperone:p

I got a python last week and used it for the first time yesterday. I took the "bottom" part of the faucet off, used the python, and then when I went to put the bottom part of the faucet back, it dropped and all the little inside pieces went their own way. I spent an hour last night trying to figure out how to put it back together:;fru

I took it to Home Depot this morning, they put it back together for me, and then I couldn't screw it back on the faucet.

So I went to ANOTHER Home Depot (I was kinda embarassed) and bought a new bottom part of the faucet and I was able to screw that back on.

I will be much more careful when I use the python today;D
